About the Role
Supporting pupils across a Year 2 classroom
Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development
Providing support during lessons, activities and independent work
Working with individuals and small groups where required
Helping pupils build confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
Supporting classroom routines and maintaining a positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential
Experience within KS1/Year 2 would be highly desirable
A confident, proactive and hardworking approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with children
Someone who can confidently support learning and manage the demands of a busy classroom
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
