Are you a dedicated and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting student’s learning and development? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a friendly school in Wallasey on a supply basis. This role involves working mornings only with a Year 6 class, leading ongoing intervention group work week by week.
Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Mornings Only)
Location: School in Wallasey
Schedule: Supply Basis, Mornings Only
Responsibilities:
– Lead intervention group work in a Year 6 class, providing targeted support to help students achieve their learning objectives
– Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging and effective interventions tailored to the needs of individual students
– Monitor and track the progress of students in the intervention groups, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure positive outcomes
– Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic progress and emotional well-being
Requirements:
– Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent is essential
– Proven experience working with primary school students, particularly in Year 6 or similar age group
– Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students in group settings
