SEND Teaching Assistants required both full and part-time
Chester, Ellesmere Port and Wirral
We are working with a school for pupils with special needs aged 4-19, located in Chester. The school educates and cares for pupils with complex special educational needs.
The pupils follow 4 curriculum pathways; pre-formal, informal, semi-formal and formal.
Primary is made up of both Reception and Primary children. Learners in Reception year, and in most cases Year 1, follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Other classes in Primary follow the traditional primary model of being class-based and follow the EQUALS curriculum.
Seniors is divided into three areas (key stages): KS3, KS4 and KS5. A number of children join us from mainstream primaries for the start of Year 7. Classes in each key stage are mixed year as they are taught in their curriculum pathways.
New Directions are actively seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team, to assist us in supporting this school. We are looking to register candidates ready for a September start – whether that be for day to day, full-time and or long-term roles with a view to going permanent for the right candidate.
