Maths Teacher – Secondary School, Stockport £750–£1,000 per week | PAYE – No Umbrella Company
New Directions is recruiting for a Maths Teacher to work in a secondary school in Stockport. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting ASAP. This role is a temp to perm, so will start through supply before going onto a contract for the right candidate.
The Role:
Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a range of abilities
Support GCSE pupils with progress and attainment
Assess and monitor student progress
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Contribute to the wider Maths department
The Candidate:
PGCE with UK QTS or QTLS
Secondary Maths teaching experience
Strong Maths subject knowledge
Excellent classroom and behaviour-management skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
Committed to supporting students to achieve their potential
