About the Role
As an F1 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within a nurturing Foundation Stage environment. You will assist with classroom activities, encourage positive social interactions, and help create an engaging learning atmosphere where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning activities.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.
Encourage children’s social, emotional, and communication skills.
Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil participation.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, nursery, youth work, or similar setting.
A nurturing, patient, and positive approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
