Aberystwyth is the newest of the New Directions offices, opening in 2016, and is based just a short walk from the town centre.

The team of experienced consultants operate across the region in recruiting staff for the education sector. As well as providing a professional recruitment service, New Directions Education also offers a wide range of training courses to support our clients and candidates continuous professional development.

The Aberystwyth office recruit for primary, secondary and additional learning needs (ALN) schools for short –term to long-term supply. By working closely with local authorities (LA) we provide the right solution the first time.

New Directions is recognised as the Managed Service Provider for the provision of agency workers for all 22 local education authorities across Wales. New Directions is a member of the education division of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and an umbrella body of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

We cover the following areas: Aberystwyth, Aberaeron, Llanrhystud, Cardigan, Lampeter, Machynlleth, Tywyn, Dolgellau, Barmouth, Harlech, Y Bala.

We recruit for the following positions: primary, secondary and ALN teachers, NQT’s, teaching assistants, cover supervisors, welsh medium teachers, exam invigilators, caretakers, lunchtime supervisors and further education lecturers.
