History/Humanities Teacher

Immediate Start
£600 – £800 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

Our Secondary School based Sefton , are Looking for a enthusiastic and motivated History/Humanities Teacher to join their wonderful team for a long term role starting Immediately 2024 through until the end of the academic year. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and committed to achieving the best results across both key stages. Evidence of achieving successful outcomes at KS3 & KS4 is desirable, although ECTs will be considered for the post. If you are a qualified or newly qualified History/Humanities Teacher please APPLY below as this could be the role for you.

As a History/Humanities Teacher you’ll be expected to:

  • Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
  • Maintain discipline.
  • Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
  • Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
  • Have a passion for teaching secondary Humanities
  • To deliver Humanities to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.

The Successful History/Humanities Teacher must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Expereince Of Teaching History or Humanities
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Passionate about teaching History /Humanaites
