We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school on the Wirral that is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 1.

The Role
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 1
Supporting the child’s learning, communication and emotional development throughout the school day
Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to implement personalised support strategies
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive engagement in learning
Building a strong, trusting relationship to help the child achieve their full potential
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience supporting children within a primary school or SEND setting
Experience supporting children with communication difficulties is essential
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, committed and passionate about making a positive difference
