Join this schools dedicated team as a One-to-One Learning Support Assistant to work with a child in Year 1 on a full-time supply basis starting after Easter. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in a supportive school environment on the Wirral.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide one-to-one support to a child in Year 1, assisting with their learning and progress
– Implement strategies to help the child engage with the curriculum and reach their potential
– Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
– Monitor and record the child’s achievements and challenges to inform future interventions
Requirements:
– Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a support capacity
– A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning needs
– Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
– An understanding of child development and a willingness to adapt to individual learning styles
