We are advertising to appoint a full-time, long-term, SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school within their SEND resource hub provision in the Walsall area.
In this role, you will be working in a small class of KS1 students who are autistic and have speech and language support needs. You will need to have a passion to make a difference to the learning & development of children, while being passionate & friendly around learning tasks.
This position is term-time only, working Monday to Friday for the hours of 08:30am to 3:30pm. This role is to start ideally immediately but we are happy to await a short notice period if required in order to appoint the right applicant
At New Directions, we are always open minded to appoint the right applicant, therefore we will consider applicants with school and also non-school experience from fields such as social care, residential and support settings. You will not need to hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification to be considered.
This position pays on a weekly basis, at a daily pay rate from £92.56 to £95.03 per day. This rate is dependent on experience and / or qualifications
