Candidates should be able to deliver good quality lessons, be able to motive and encourage students in and out of the classroom. Applicants for the post should be able to demonstrate excellent levels of expertise and evidence of raising student attainment and achievement. The successful candidate will :-
Have experience of working with secondary aged students
Ability to support the student both academically and emotionally in a calm manner, adhere to safeguarding and behavioural policies at all times, and show adherence to professional boundaries
Demonstrate the ability to keep records on learning and emotional needs and changes
Use sports and PE activities to build rapport and maintain positive engagement
Be confident teaching through Medium of Welsh
We are searching for a PE and games enthusiast who wants to make a difference to the sporting provision at this school. The role will involve teaching PE and Games from Year 7 up to Year 13. The successful candidate will be a team player, organised, have excellent communication skills and have experience of teaching PE and games. You should be a positive role model for all pupils and help to ensure every child enjoys sport. This role is suitable for NQTs.
We have regular supply teaching jobs for physical education (PE) teachers available to qualified teachers who can teach Key Stage 3 (KS3), Key Stage 4 (KS4) and possibly Key Stage 5 (KS5).
Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) looking for teaching work in PE should also register with us.

Teach all areas of your subject specialism
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
