New Directions Education are looking too appoint an experienced and professional School Administrator, to work on a temporary supply basis in primary schools in Torfaen.
The nature of supply work involves covering long and short-term temporary positions in various local schools, therefore all applicants should be flexible and adaptable to the needs of each school. The positions are full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
Our clients are seeking hardworking and organised individuals, with previous experience working in a school office. Experience using the School Information Management System (SIMS) is essential, and some knowledge of school finances will also be beneficial.
This is a great opportunity to support local primary schools and work as an integral part of the school support team.
We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
