New Directions are looking to appoint an experienced Primary School Administrator, to join our team of school support staff and provide temporary office support to primary schools in Caerphilly.
Our clients are seeking professional, knowledgeable and adaptable individuals, who are able to use their experience and expertise to support the school with internal staff absences. The successful applicant must be confident working independently to oversee the day to day running of the office.
Due to the nature of temporary roles, all applicants should be flexible and available to cover both long and short term positions. The usual working hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, term-time only.
Previous experience using the School Information Management System (SIMS) is essential and experience working in Caerphilly schools using systems such as OLAS is highly desirable.
We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
