New Directions Education is recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to work within a school in the Monmouthshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.
Role Overview: As a Primary Teacher, you will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and support children across the primary age range. You will foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, builds confidence, and helps pupils achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
Promote positive behaviour and manage the classroom effectively.
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support learning and wellbeing.
Contribute to the wider life of the school where required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, BA/BSc with QTS, or PGCE).
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in Wales.
Proven experience of teaching in a primary school setting (placements considered for NQTs).
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Passion, creativity, and adaptability to inspire and support pupils of all abilities.
