New Directions Education are recruiting for an outstanding SEN primary school in Kirkby who pride themselves on their rounded, vibrant approach. Do you have Patience, Empathy and a Genuine passion for working with children? If yes then New Directions wants you to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. We have a range of FREE CPD training courses, from Safeguarding to Autism Awareness, which will teach you the relevant skills and attributes necessary for supporting children in our schools.

At New Directions We are committed to providing excellent and exceptional support to schools right across Liverpool and West Lancashire, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a heart for helping children with SEN. As this is a Trainee position we are happy to accept applicants with a Social Care, Health Care Assistant and Social Care background.

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:

• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• Be encouraging and supportive.
• Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding students development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.
• Be Passionate about children’s education.
• Ability to adapt and respond effectively to the varying needs of students.
