We are currently seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
About You
You will bring a caring, patient, and resilient approach, with proven experience working with children in a similar setting. Whether your background is in education, residential care, or support work, your ability to build trust and provide emotional and behavioural support will be key.
The Role
Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 or small group basis
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Provide personal care and emotional support where required
Help create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Essential Requirements
Experience working with children in a care, support, or educational setting
A strong understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
