The Role
Teaching Sociology across the secondary age range
Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons
Inspiring students to develop their understanding of key sociological concepts
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
Working collaboratively with colleagues to support positive outcomes for students
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Sociology within a secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Sociology
Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
A positive, professional and adaptable approach
