Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum? We’re looking for dedicated and enthusiastic TAs to support primary schools across the Wirral.
This role would suit someone who is confident working across KS2 and is comfortable supporting pupils in Year 6, particularly during the important SATs period.
About the Role
Supporting pupils across Key Stage 2
Working closely with class teachers and the wider school team
Supporting learning across the KS2 curriculum
Working with individuals and small groups where required
Providing additional support with reading, writing and maths
Supporting Year 6 pupils with SATs preparation when required
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
Helping create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within KS2
Good knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Confidence supporting Year 6 pupils
Comfortable working within a Year 6 setting and supporting pupils during SATs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient and proactive approach
Someone who can confidently support pupils with their learning and development
