Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic individual looking to support students in Key Stage 2? A fantastic opportunity is available at a primary school located in Pensby for a full-time Teaching Assistant position starting immediately, until Christmas 2024.

Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 2)
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Until at least Christmas 2024
Location: Pensby

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide support to students in Key Stage 2, both individually and in small groups
– Assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
– Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
– Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development

Key Requirements:
– Experience working with primary school students, particularly in Key Stage 2
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning

  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
