We are working with a welcoming primary school in the West Kirby area that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class from September.
The role is initially expected to run until October half term, with the potential to continue beyond this point for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for consistent work within a supportive primary school environment.
The Role
Supporting pupils within a Year 2 classroom
Working alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning
Providing support to individuals and small groups where required
Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and engagement with learning
Supporting classroom activities and interventions
Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school
Experience supporting KS1 would be desirable
A caring, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and committed to providing consistent support
Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
