The Role
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to KS2 pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Assist pupils with their learning, personal development, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Use positive behaviour management strategies to encourage confidence, independence, and participation
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them achieve their individual goals
The Ideal Candidate
• Has a background in care, support work, youth work, or a similar role with transferable skills
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is desirable but not essential
• Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning
• Is confident working as part of a team and communicating effectively with staff and pupils
• Is eager to learn, develop new skills, and build a long-term career within education
