New Directions Education are currently recruiting final year student teachers who are due to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) this academic year and are seeking opportunities in primary schools across Crewe and surrounding areas from September.
This is an excellent opportunity to begin your teaching career, gain valuable experience in a variety of school settings, and potentially secure a long-term or permanent role. We work with a range of supportive schools that are committed to helping newly qualified teachers develop and succeed.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
• Working collaboratively with school staff and support teams
• Developing confidence and experience across a range of primary settings
• Be a final year student teacher due to achieve QTS this academic year
• Recent teaching placement experience within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and reflective approach to teaching
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)
