New Directions Education are currently recruiting dedicated and adaptable PPA Teachers to work in primary schools across Sandbach. This role is ideal for enthusiastic educators who enjoy teaching across different year groups and delivering high-quality lessons during teachers’ Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
• Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
• Ensuring continuity of learning during class teachers’ PPA time
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
• Adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Providing feedback to class teachers following lessons
• Supporting the wider school community where required
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Confidence teaching across different year groups
• A proactive and professional approach
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and curriculum expectations
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A full driving licence and access to transport (desirable due to the location of schools)
