The Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to develop their mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Assess, monitor and track student progress.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Prepare students for internal assessments and examinations.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school.
Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
