Are you energetic, caring and passionate about working with children? A primary school in the Heswall area is looking for a friendly and reliable Breakfast & Afterschool Club Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment for children before and after the school day.
About the Role
Supporting children during the breakfast club from 7:30am–9:00am
Helping with the afterschool club from 3:15pm–6:00pm
Supervising children and ensuring their safety and wellbeing
Organising and supporting fun, engaging activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
Helping create a warm and welcoming environment
Working closely with school staff and other club team members
Supporting children of different ages and abilities
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working with children is desirable
Experience within a school, nursery, childcare or youth setting would be beneficial
A caring, patient and enthusiastic personality
Good communication and teamwork skills
Someone reliable, responsible and confident supervising children
A genuine passion for helping children have a positive start and end to their school day
