English Teacher (Part time)
Salford
September 2024 – January 2025
£600-1200 per week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

New Directions Education are working with an outstanding Secondary School based in Salford who are looking for a progressive and supportive English teacher to join their team. This will be a long term role starting in September through until Christmas on a Part time basis. We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic English teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and induction support will be available.

As an English Teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching secondary English
• To deliver English lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
