Key Responsibilities:
– Provide individualised support to a child in Year 1, addressing their learning needs and behaviours
– Implement effective strategies to enhance the child’s engagement with the curriculum and promote positive learning outcomes
– Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
– Monitor and track the child’s progress, adapting support techniques as needed to facilitate their growth
Requirements:
– Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
– Proven ability to support children with diverse learning needs and behavioural challenges
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff
– Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to promoting positive behaviours and academic progress
