£92.52 – £102.83 per day £462.60 – £514.15 per week
Job Purpose
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Aston.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils both within the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping to create an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities – Teaching & Learning Support
Support teaching and learning across the classroom
Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention sessions
Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources and activities
Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
Monitor and record pupil progress where required
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to meet pupils’ individual needs
Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Person Requirements
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential. This must be an accredited qualification not a quick online one.
Previous experience working within a UK primary school
Confident supporting pupils across a range of abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, proactive and caring approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Two satisfactory professional references
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience supporting children within a primary school setting is essential.
