The successful candidate will become part of a supportive school community, helping students across KS3 and KS4 develop their skills, confidence and understanding of mathematics in preparation for future success.
The Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in helping students develop their mathematical understanding while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Assess, monitor and track student progress.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Prepare students for examinations and support attainment goals.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider school staff.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A passion for Mathematics and student achievement.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
