New Directions Education are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time, long-term position within the Maths department, with excellent support and the potential to become permanent. This role is due to start in as soon as possible for the full academic year.

The Role:
Responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Inspire and motivate students to develop confidence and competence in mathematics, enabling all learners to reach their full potential.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to assess progress, set targets, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be completing or have recently completed an Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme.
Have recent experience teaching or undertaking placements in a secondary school, ideally in a maths department.
Be able to provide a recent reference from a school-based placement or teaching role within the last five years.
Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
