New Directions are currently recruiting for Newly Qualified Teachers to work with us on Supply from September 2019 in and around the Oswestry area.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, who are looking to build their experience in Teaching and make an impression on the local schools with the possibility of attaining a permanent or long term position. Whether you are looking for full time or part time, we can work with you to provide work that suits your availability.
With schools getting so many applications for their permanent vacancies, working on supply can be a great introduction to schools and many of our supply Teachers have gone on to secure long term or permanent postions from doing day to day supply work with us.
We are a very busy Education Agency and we will be looking for people ready to start with us in September. If you do not have your certificates yet, you are still able to register as a Student Teacher and once you have the paperwork through, we can change your positon to an NQT.

As a newly qualified teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
