New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated ECT Teachers for September starts across primary and secondary schools in Chester and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for Early Career Teachers to gain valuable experience in supportive school environments while beginning their teaching careers.
You will work closely with experienced staff and leadership teams to deliver engaging lessons, build confidence in the classroom, and support pupils in achieving their full potential.
The Role:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and professionally
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress to support learning outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to obtain QTS before September
• A passion for teaching and supporting young people
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• A commitment to safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Ideally holds a DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one
