We are currently recruiting for Primary Teachers to work in and around the Shrewsbury area.
New Directions have worked with Shropshire schools for a number of years and have excellent relationships in the area.
We supply to schools on a day to day basis to help to cover teachers that are on courses, cover short term sickness, PPA cover and planned absences. We also help schools’ long-term requirements and cover instances of maternity, paternity and long-term sickness. Therefore, we are able to work around you to find the hours that suit your availability.
We are very busy at the moment and we tend to get even busier after the Christmas holidays.
The advantages of working for New Directions:
Flexibility to work the hours that suit your availability;
Introductions to new schools and different working environments;
A way in to schools if you are looking for a more permanent role;
Building experience and skills;
Weekly pay; and
Free training courses provided by New Directions to boost your CV.
We are looking for confident, outgoing teachers, who are able to make an impression and get asked back by our schools. You will normally be required to take planning with you, unless it is an advance booking and the permanent teacher has left you work. You will also be expected to complete all marking before you go home.
Both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply.
