A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Manchester, working within their resource base. This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right person.
About the school & role
Based in Manchester, the school is developing a their SEND resource base, offering an exciting opportunity for a teacher to help establish and shape the provision from the beginning.
The role will involve planning and delivering engaging, appropriately differentiated lessons for pupils within the resource base, creating a structured and supportive environment that meets their individual needs.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP, with the potential to move onto a permanent contract for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate
Holds QTS and has proven experience working with children with additional needs, particularly pupils on the autism spectrum or with complex language delays.
Understands how to adapt teaching, communication and classroom strategies to support pupils with complex needs and help them engage with learning.
Is patient, adaptable and collaborative, with the confidence to work closely with TAs, the SENCO and wider school team while helping to establish a successful new provision.
