New Directions Education is currently recruiting for a Secondary Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for part-time or full-time work, with a mixture of Science teaching and general cover.
The Role
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Science Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across the secondary age range. Alongside teaching Science, the role will include general cover, providing flexibility and variety throughout the school week.
You will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons.
Teaching across Key Stages 3 and/or 4.
Providing general cover lessons when required.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
Be confident managing a classroom and maintaining high expectations.
Be adaptable and comfortable delivering general cover lessons.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed.
