Are you an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant with strong behaviour management skills? An excellent full-time opportunity awaits for a skilled individual to work one-to-one with a Year 3 student at a primary school in Ellesmere Port. This is a long-term ongoing supply role offering the chance to make a lasting impact on a young learner’s educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide one-to-one support and assistance to a Year 3 student in their academic and personal development
– Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support the student’s engagement and progress
– Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create a supportive learning environment
– Monitor and track the student’s progress, providing feedback and updates as necessary

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a teaching assistant, particularly in supporting students with behaviour management needs
– Strong understanding of primary education curriculum and strategies to support individual learning needs
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents effectively
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and adapt to the changing needs of the student

We’ll also consider experienced learning support assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.
