Schedule: 3 days a week
Are you experienced in providing behavioural support and looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s education? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 4 student at a primary school in Ellesmere Port.
Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the child to provide tailored support and guidance
– Implement strategies to manage and improve the child’s behaviour
– Assist the child in accessing the curriculum and engaging with learning activities
– Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create a supportive environment
– Communicate progress and concerns to the relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
– Experience in providing behavioural support, particularly in an educational setting
– Ability to build rapport and establish trust with the child
– Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is advantageous
