New Directions are hiring kind, approachable and committed individuals to join us on a supply basis working in a school as a Nursery Assistant in the Ruthin area. This is a welsh-speaking position, so the ability to speak Welsh fluently is required.
The school we are looking to fill roles for is a hard-working, caring and happy Welsh school.
The work available can be covering day to day supply however we do have long term positions also available.
A background of working with children is preferred and an advantage, but is not essential.
As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of other staff.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
