Supply Teachers – Primary Schools | Warrington

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools across Warrington. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary age range in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
  • Adapt confidently to different classroom settings and school routines
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Deliver phonics sessions where required, including use of the Read Write Inc. programme (training can be provided)
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity in learning

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or is currently working towards achieving it
  • Is an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain experience or complete induction
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Has a flexible, positive, and proactive approach to teaching
  • Has an interest in supporting early reading and phonics development

Requirements

  • References covering the last 5 years
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
